Have been so busy recently, after my exams.... out of sudden, my preparation for our wedding kindof speed up.... from 1st gear, directly to 5th gear...... Bought almost all stuff, waiting for this Friday Guo Da Li.... Think will take some photos during my Guo Da Li...... try to capture some memories during this "Special" Day...

Things Done over this weekend

Wow, finally got many things confirmed and done. Firstly, will be our honeymoon trip. Confirmed to Taiwan and then to HK....Yeah shopping time..... Got our benlinen at Bliss Collection. Although cost a bit more, it's make of Silk, so guess it's worth it. Collected our little ang bao....

Today, went to Bukit Timah, bring my mother in-law for shopping on our Guo Da Li stuff...... anyway, despite warning from Sis... felt that we kena chop.... I also have bought the Long Feng Zu but after my dad saw it, "wow so short"... wonder can i change for other things else.... Got stalked by someone today.... our movement was being watched for the last ten mins before we left the shop... Got fined by $500 by LTA... damn.... luckily never lose my temper or not, the red car beside my xiao bai will be overturn by me.... hahaha

Fisrt post in Oct

Finally clear my Statistics project and class test. Only left International Marketing project to be handed in this coming Fri.....

Pam and i have went to see a few furniture shops last sat... (after i saw so many sales ads in the newspaper) Went to MegaMattr** at juroong area, which sze told me near the jurong bowling centre... Saw a mattress with this memory foam... very nice feel... quoted $1299 + two free pillow and absorb GST. Quite a good deal after i search for similar mattress after that. The only reason not to buy from the salesman is that i Hate hard selling!!!! Plus Lao Lan face... Told me that the offer is only valid if i buy from him on the spot. Once i'm out of the showroom, the offer is no longer valid. To me as a Sales, this is totally Hard Selling. Damn, Xia Lan plus Lao Lan face.... i rather pay more.....

Go to MorrisLifest**, very good deal there, but still cannot forget the memory foam. Saw this Maxcoil brand, the memory foam $1750, also two free pillow.... BUT out of budget...

Shift to Sungei Kadut, remember that there is a shop name St Louis,the same shop at IMM which we first come across to this memory foam. We went in and wow... the platform bed is different from others... more modern and better design. Then ask auntie how much is the maxcoil memory foam, she quote $1599.00 with two pillow.... Using my sales talk, managed to squeeze it to $1450 + 2 pillow + protector +7% GST. Overall, think it's good deal for us as both of us love that mattress... Think Simons also very good, maybe 15 yrs later...:)

We also ask my parents to go St Louis on Sun, we also brought my new bedroom set at $999 + gst... Happy....:)

Little updates

As i have mentioned, it's already 6 weeks since my last post. So today i should have a little updates.



Wedding shoot done on 12/9/07, was a nice and fun day for both of us. I was also quite surprised that i can actually kept smiling all the day. Although i was damn fucking tired. We have also selected photos which will able to see them in arwork in next month 16. Hopefully everything can be done by Nov. So all of you can managed to see it in preview! :P








As for Wedding card, which was 30% done, a super duper efficient team by the usual team... back up by two super hero. Guess need to start writing this weekend again. My dear hooked on her TV drama again... but in other point of view, it's good. So i have my own time to play basketball and wrtie this blog. :)



Guo Da Li has been done except the acutal preparation of it.



My class presentation also done last week. Project title is Hotel 81. A lot of classmates and even the lecturer said it's good idea since all the other groups are doing same old thing like Old Chang Kee, Mei Zheng Siang..... But bad news is that i need to submit two project next week. Gueshave to burn midnight oil again....



My daily timing was also mixed up liao.... no more kopi session with tom, tried to have a few with ji... the rest, accompany my dad to NKF then proceed to my class.....



What else? To keep asking ID to quote for my new flat?

Tired and Stressed Month

Wow.... Augest have passed.... now is Sept liao.... When i try to blog today, i saw my last blog was 31 July? oppss... that was long enough...

However, seems that all of us are so busy with own life where blogging is no longer daily task for each of us. Esp for my dearest sis... felt so guilty that we actually didn't meet up for a month till last Sunday? I 'm sorry about it. Really busy for my wedding and personnal stuff... esp for my dad... bringing him here and there whenever i can... even i can't i also tried the best to find some time for him...

Not enough sleep might be the reason for my short temper, high pressure and tireness. Hope my dear can forgive my short temper... at least for this few months....

Nice chatting with sis just now. Thanks for reminding me a LOT of things which i need to do asap. When i was told i have only 2 months have, I was a bit freaked out.... stress.....
Things that i will do within these 2 weeks.
1) Invitation Cards
2) Go in-law house to neg on guo da li stuff....
3) Have the wedding shooting on 12/9/07 (must remember to bring a fresh and smiley face)

A short trip to Genting on 20072007

Another upload on the trip to Genting on 20/7/07.

Woke up at 6am, reached there ard 230pm. But due to the stupid mistake from the reception, we change rooms at least 3 times(heng, at least Poong, Pam and I didnt need to change). Ard 3, finally set for our lunch, the Famous KFC.... then shop around plus gamble around to 9, then we went to this Mushroom Garden located at below of Genting. A 5 mins free ride from the M.G. :) Cheap and nice.




Day 2, eat a lot of dian xin and proceed to outdoor themepark. The girls almost played all games except me. Cannot remember i have even played for one. Sianz**** A great tribute to the four Super Woman- Pam, Poong, Janice and Ah Na, who dare to try out Genting's latest ride- Superman.....


After that, we went to Casino to try our luck.... damn, lost almost all my investment fund. S$150... decided to quit before i got burnt...

Day 3, checked out and left our stuff at the reception, proceed to the Dian Xin feast again. Most of the friends went to Casino for the last round before the bus departure time. Pam, me and her friends went for another short shopping.

The whole journey back to Singapore is a tough one, it took us ard 9 hrs to reach Golden Mile. From 2.30pm to 1115pm. Damn tired.....

Should we organise a short trip to KL or Genting? :P

Best friends attending my ROM and Special Theme "Retro" has certainly brought more lively and fun to this special event.

A outdoor shoot ard 5-6pm which located at the swimming pool of Furama Riverfront Hotel. All ideas and pattern came out.... Simply love that kind of feeling and yes, it was tiring.

One more day and my feelings....

One more day to one of my biggest day. At least we have got it almost 98% preparation done.
With the help of our best friends' help, it was busy but still able to manage. Cannot imagine if without them..... Through this event, the bond between Tom, Q and i became stronger compared to the past. In the past, found Q is a very quiet gal, but don't be deceived by her looks. She can be so fun and chatty when you get to know her more. Tom and I recently became good buddy as he always jio me for coffee.... besides that we have the same "interest", the shares and unit trust. He is more into shares where i am more into unit trusts.

For Siyi and Yau, the best friends of mine, went through lots of happy and unhappy days with these two chaps... Without doubts, this event one events increase the bonds between us...From 15years ago, without knowing when, our bonds became stronger as the years goes by. From Sec Sch to JC/Poly, Uni/NS and these doesn't stop me/us to keep in contact. Although there is times when we have some misunderstanding but it will passed soon. Think that this relationship will still goes strong for another few decades.. hehe maybe through parenthood life.... :P

Ok i know a bit out of topic liao... back to my big day. I have bought wines and maybe a bottle of Chivas for our night entertainment, very nice tibits esp that you guys will think(hopefully) of your childhood's life.... tonight will be meeting them for final check. Hopefully it's all done.

See how's your preception on ROM day, to someone, it might be DOOM day, but I felt it will be a delighted day and of course full with fun.

Finally, collected our ROM cert today, it was done very quickly, less than 45 mins... have to made the oaths on the spot... a bit pai seh...haha

After that, we have gone to buy some gifts to the most retro dress up, one male and one female. The panel of judges will be ....

Tommy is offically down ,infected by virus F.... mostly likely spread by Tat.. beware for the rest.... I'm sorry..... hmmmm.... latest updated, offically kk is back!!!!

Anyway, last night, we have engrave our rings (finally) and also dry clean the dress..... so i hope that most of the things have been done, if not, maybe by this week or next....

While looking through the old photo with pam yesterday, found some photos that brought me good old memories......

True stories and joke of the year

Hi,

Sorry for not updating my blog oftenly as i was really stress and busy with my exams, works, and ROM stuffs....

During the weekend, I went to Sunway lagoon with Pam's company. Got to know her friends through the trip. The ones who left me good impressionis kok hua and his wife. He gives me a good feeling esp when i don't know except the girls from First Technology. From the first day, most of the time , we eat lunch and dinner together, go to the theme park...etc

During the first or second meal with them, kok hua told me one story. It happened to one of his friends, went to BBK for a shopping trip. During the shopping trip, they went to weekend market. They went to the pets station and saw this dog-"chow chow"? They decided to buy it as one of their friends also have the same breed. When coming back to singapore, they need to lef the dog for days or weeks to make sure that the dog are healthy. One day, the customs called them and said that the dog are ready for collection.

After weeks of playing with his new little puppy, he found something strange. How come his "chow chow" have a very big appetite compared to his friend's dog. What i meant is really BIG amount of food needed to feed on the dog. He's worried that is there anything wrong with his new baby. Therefor, he decided to bring the dog to a vet.

At the clinic, he asked, " Doc, how come my puppy has such a big appetite"

The doc examined the dog for a while and reply, " Huh, this is not dog what"

To his surprised and reply, " Hmmm if it's not a dog, then what it???"

Once again, the vet answered him, " It's a bear!"

He then donated the "chow chow" to Singapore Zoo.

After his story, we all asked him to buy a cat for me during his next trip to BKK as his frequent there. And we hope that the CAT can become a Tiger or leopard.......

Late Night

It's 1am liao.... very tired and sleepy... rushing for my project... Just want to update on something.....

Yesterday was a super tired day. Went for a game of basketball, after that, when i reached home, dear was looking at me curiously, wonder whether i will bring for her a walk which i promise her on sunday. No choice, kept my promises, brought her to Yishun Park, walk for a short while and start running.... but only last a sort distance... tired to encourage her, but instead of doing so, she laughed and stops.... faintz.... went to the work out station and did a 2 sets of sit up...... both of us were so tired.... went to sleep shortly after that.(of course, we bathe first)

Today, i was looking around for photographer.... after calling a few of them, none of them can make it in terms of pricing and quality. As siyi mentioned on Vincent, keep sms tommy to ask for me(sorry abt that). Mostly likely asking him for help.....

Oh ya, i will post up some of the cards which done up by the three girls PSQ.... impressive and nice.

Wow finally can post from my house laptop liao.....

Today this is a short update.... I only smoked 8 sticks today!! wow never thought i can do that so fast.... hopefully can maintain 8-10 sticks tomorrow.... maybe i should update everyday, so i can remind of myself..... What you guys think?

Sticking to a diet plan these few days with exercise.... hope i can see some results two weeks later. But hor, if meet up on sat, please allow me to eat.... thanks... :)

Strange.....

How come i can only post when i'm in office? Strange.....

Starting from yesterday, I told myself i need to try my very best for
1) Slim down and keep fit

2) Cut down my smoking and eventually quit smoking....

I know it's very tough but with you guys aroud me, I'm sure i can do it. For my future wife, for my future health and my family....... Don't know how to do it... but will at least try... to cut down from 15-18 sticks per day to 10-12... eventually 5-8 then trash that stupid grass......

Been exercise these few days... even started to do sit up yesterday, strange thing is that with only 20 times(which encourage by Wilfred) i got cramp during the night,..... anyway will increase to 40 tonight... Skipped yesterday dinner with only a glass of milo to prevent any stomach problems....

It's Friday.... Boring Friday

Ha, seems that the title is about the same as Siyi one... it's oke....

Will be very very buzy over this weekend. First of all, I have to miss my company function due to Project! I left 3 days to clear this project which i have not touch on it at all! Faintz...

Seriously looking forward to Sat as it will be our testing of ROM grown, suit... don't know what is it call. Anyway, will try to take as many photos as possible, then post up.. (hope my house internet can get it fix by today)

I'm really keen on building my retirement nest since Tommy mentioned his. Been looking into shares, open account with Philips CAptial and think i should not go into the shares at the moment. So i went to look for my AIA agent and glad that my investment goes well. In short, my investment grow around 11-13% since Jan 2006. I read an article recently saying that we need at least one million when we want to retire and that is the minimum. @@ so lets build toward this one million benchmark. :)

Monday Blue... nope... it's Monday Good!

At last, it seems to be a good monday for me... Even though it was a bit stressed in the morning, went for a lunch with my supplier and it was my treat... after that, went to ubi to view the pretty new cars again. This time round, I didn't even asked for the price, how much i can trade in blah blah blah... just wanted to see the new vios by toyota. Since we were nearby, we decided to drop by and look look see see. $55k for a thai made vios? a big no no to me. As i was thinking change to mini MPV or the Airwave with moon roof.... when i test drive the airwave(my good friend bought his new car) i was thinking wow.... there is this moon roof where you can electronic open the bind and view the sky(of course not when the sun is hot) or even view the stars when it is a clear sky... cool....

Back to work stuff, my director is very particular on a product for these two months. Manager even stressed that it will be our top mission for this month to sell more for this product... well, out of nowhere, a customer confirmed 66nos of this product. Even though the sales amount is barely $2.5K only, but i can see that my director and manager are very pleased of this order. heng ah.... got another news from my manager, but not very good to post here... :)

Oh ya, received a call from my friend saying that he has received the exam results.... C for consumer behaviour and F for econ..... meaning that he have to take a sup paper this comin june. Sianz.. rushed home asap (yes i skipped class again) wanted to know my results. Have a mixed feeling before i view the results slips.... damn before i can "bio" the grade, knn see 8 8. No chance to "bio" at all. Got two Bs for both subjects. not bad lah, at least got B.... but hor, MIS got no AD. As A is for 80 and above and B is 70-79. For this results, I tink can translate into A accroding to NP system. So I got two As? haha

okie, think it was a good monday and hope it will be same for the rest of the week. And also hope that it will be good week for you guys too.....

It's time to blog.....

In fact, there is nothing much to blog about these few days. Except the two good movies that i have watched over the long weekend...hmmm i did work for a while on Friday and Sat... so does it counted as a long weekend? First of all, i have to say the "Reaping" is a good movie and not to forget, the "Shooters". Both are equally good...

Getting married in seven months time... yes seven month... yet when i woke up today, I found that my pants are a bit tighter than last week, the ring bought by Pam seems to be smaller by oneor two sizes.... damn, how can i slim down like that with the "help" of my buddies...hmmm of course, pam and i enjoyed the eating session... so think i have to hit the ball twice harder.... oh ya, my nei nei seems a cup bigger... hahaha joking hor......

Okie, let's talk about upcoming BBQ session next sat. I can tell you the final decision is not easy esp after the brainstorming with sis on the phone this afternoon. Think we chatted for at least half an hour.... all ideas were thrown in.... like "ku kop" in jb, desaru one day trip, or even chalet in loyang or changi.... thnk the chalet is out as both of the "govt" employee unable to book a place... btw, congrats to all "govt" employee...think you gals have a pay rise soon. So who's treating coffee this time round? Back to BBQ, please confirm your attendance asap or not she wll book the pit real soon.... However, we still open for the "ku kop" or desaru trip.....

Finally getting my results in 2 days time, very "gan chiong" abt it.... to be frank, I still have the hope to get an A for my econs or at least B even though i kept keeping my friends i will be glad if i got B for econs.... If I got C or D, guess i will be very disappointed...:(

One more thing running in my mind, for at least 2 weeks... to change job or not. Anyway, I told the head hunter that i will submit my resume to him tonight but my auditor said that he will get back to me by tomorrow.... please do so... if not i will just submit the not very impressive resume up... haha Have a few chats with my dad, he given me his opinion and make some sense to me... the rest i shall see how.... Maybe as Tom said," no harm to find out how much my market value worth now....... " i like this one

Night Safari

As usual, woke up in the morning to send Pam to her workplace. After that when home to watch on VCD, surf the net and think what to write on the blog. After that, I when to pick her her and proceeded to AMK hub. Damn, it was so packed! Waited for half an hour to park my xiao bai.

Went to Pepper lunch for our lunch. The service was excellent compared to the one we had at D.G MRT. She suggested me to write the survey form, so i picked up the pencil and form and started to write essay. Yes, I wrote essay on the bad service that they had on the DG mrt. I have to flip the paper around as there is no place for me to write....

We went to the game shop and buy a game which i waited for 2 hrs!!! Tom, i think open a game shop will be more profitable than the investment you are talking about... interested? I think i will buy a PS3 next year, when my new house is ready. (FYI, i don't mind to receive it as a birthday gift :P)

The whole day was spoilt as it was raining. Even when i woke up from my nap, it was still raining. Sze said that she has went out for her dinner and might going for "PathFinder" as yau wanted to watch it. Luciky, Sze and Tom are both very "chiang yi qi" they agreed to meet outside the Zoo at 845pm.

New job?

I saw this job advertisement through She**'s website- Sales and Marketing Executive. How i wish i can apply this job, as you know, when you are in oil industries, you will not think of changing job as the benefits and pay package are one of the best in today's market. However.... the entry requirement; degree in marketing.... damn..I'm out... :~( i will take up a degree course when i have the money... for my future...hmmm no, it's for our future.

Today i received a call, asking me if i would interested to apply for International application Engineer. This guy is from employment agency, the question is how he know which company I'm from? Well let's talk more about this job, it requires me to travel within SE Asia very frequently. Yes, he mentioned 50% of my time will be in other countries. This is what i always want to do, being a Regional Sales Engineer or even manager!

But as you guys know, this year will be super busy for me so..... further more, if your hubby or wife travel so frequently, will you mind?

just came back from my class for accounting. Knn, this subject worse than economics, this time i will have a big time liao... who knows accounting? care to offer free lesson ? :P

At least there is some programme for this weekend. Friday night will go for a movie(anyone interested please call me, we're OK for any shows), and sat night......

Stupid Exercise

As mentioned, I went for my jogging just now. KNN i can play basketball for 2 hours, soccer 2 hours yet i can't run for more than 800m. Yes stupid 800m, for first 20m, my operated knee felt the weird feeling, my right shin got jam.... ah ya both my ankle became numb.... so i have to run for 200m, walk, run 200m, and repeat the same whole cycle.

Okie, think the above are all lame excuses... I will do a proper warm up before i go for my next jogging session. Hopefully it will be on thurs after my night class. Tomorrow will be having my weekly basketball session. Please call and check weather forecast before coming.

Parenthood Tax Rebate/Birthday Wish

When i was trying to key in my income information for 2006/07 Annual Income Tax, i was trying to figure out how to "siam" the income tax. After all the reliefs that i can think of(of course it must be legally), I still need to pay income tax..."pengz" maybe I should convinced myself and Pam to a baby right after our marriage as there is this Parenthood Tax relief. Does anyone know how much is the relief?:P


Pam is hooked on the PSP liao, since coming back from work, she has never stop playing!! Guess she really like this year Birthday present.

First Post

If you ask me why i took so long to create my own blog, the reason is simple- my english sucks...

I have been reading my best friend's blog for few months and after reading for months, i asked myself why not I should create one for myself to my personnal life and daily life issues. It may be boring and even some famous words will even appear like ka ni na or yau's fav, LJ. Hope you readers will not mind. :)

Yesterday was my dear's birthday. Hope she has enjoyed the surprises that i gave to her. Hey dude, it's not easy to have these surprises but who cares, as long as she's happy.

If you ask why i want to choose this template....1) It's green- suppose to be envirnomental friendly (ya i have more concern on global warming because I afriad of Tsunami....)2) The name of this template is Son of ....(don't know what) seems nice.. :P
